  • Jeffrey Bisson

    Institutional Equity Sales

    Jeff joined Craig-Hallum in 2002 and within the first few years of joining the firm, helped design the CH sales process, emphasizing how the firm’s client-first perspective works with the buy-side. Prior to joining Craig-Hallum, Jeff practiced securities litigation law and worked as a management consultant with IBM Consulting. He earned his BA from Gustavus Adolphus College and his JD from University of Wisconsin.

    Institutional Equity Sales Trading

    John joined Craig-Hallum in 2004 and prior to joining, he worked at Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler). John holds a BA from Gustavus Adolphus College.

  • Jason Dobis

    Institutional Equity Sales

    Jason joined Craig-Hallum in 2018 and earned his BA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.

  • Thomas Emmel

    Institutional Equity Sales

    Tom joined Craig-Hallum in 2000 after working as a research analyst for 10 years. He serves as a member of the Board of Governors and holds a BA from the University of St. Thomas.

  • Allen Gahl

    Institutional Equity Sales

    Allen joined Craig-Hallum in 2009 after working for eight years with RBC Capital Markets. He is focused on understanding his clients’ specific needs, delivering on those needs with high quality research coverage, and earning their trust as a valued partner. Family, commitment, integrity, reliability, and a hard-working attitude are important to him. He earned a BS from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

    Gino joined Craig-Hallum in 2014 as a member of the Institutional Equity Sales team. Gino earned his BA at the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management.

    Anthony joined Craig-Hallum in 2016 and has built a decade-long track record of experience of building strong client relationships and executing complex transactions. Anthony brings a unique skill set to Craig-Hallum, enabling him to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. Anthony earned his BA at Augsburg University.

    Institutional Equity Sales

    Dan joined Craig-Hallum in 2007 and has held a number of roles, including Head of Sales. As a goal-driven and relationship-focused professional, Dan thrives in team environments. With a focus on process development, collaboration, and building client relationships, Dan has successfully created and grown markets across major cities in the U.S. and Canada. He earned his BS from the University of Wisconsin and his JD from William Mitchell College of Law.

  • Ajay Kasargod

    Institutional Equity Sales

    Ajay joined Craig-Hallum in 2016 and brings a broad range of experiences to his role. Prior to joining, Ajay was a sell-side and buy-side equity research analyst (with a focus on technology and business services) for over 15 years at Morgan Keegan, Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler) and Cornerstone Capital Management. Other experience includes his role in the Planning & Performance Management team at Advance Auto Parts (AAP). Ajay earned his BA at Connecticut College.

    Jeremy joined Craig-Hallum in 2011 and brings more than 20 years of experience to the team. He holds a BA from the University of St. Thomas.

  • Harry Pappas

    Institutional Equity Sales

    Harry joined Craig-Hallum in 2018, primarily covering the Boston area. Prior to joining the firm, Harry began his career at Fidelity Investments in Boston and earned his BS in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University. Outside of work, Harry is an avid Penn State football fan and enjoys skiing in the winters and going down the Cape in the summer.

    Mike joined Craig-Hallum in 2000 and brings 30+ years of experience to the firm. He holds a BS from Mankato State University.

  • Josh Reber

    Institutional Equity Sales

    Josh joined Craig-Hallum in 2010, working in the firm’s Boston office. In 2012, he joined the firm’s headquarters in Minneapolis. Prior to Craig-Hallum, he played professional hockey in Europe and earned his BA from Colby College.

  • Peter Rogness

    Institutional Equity Sales

    Pete joined Craig-Hallum in 2011. He earned his BBA from Southern Methodist University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

  • Jeff Sandefur

    Institutional Equity Sales Trading

    Jeff joined Craig-Hallum in 2025 after spending 26 years at Piper Sandler where he was most recently the Managing Director of the Heath Care Sector Market Maker. He earned his BS in Finance from Michigan State University.

  • Bill Swanson

    Institutional Equity Sales

    Bill joined Craig-Hallum in 2013 after beginning his career as a retail broker. He previously worked at Dougherty & Co., Miller Johnson Steichen Kinnard, and Northland Securities in research and sales. Bill earned his BA at the University of Minnesota Duluth.

    Institutional Equity Sales

    Charlie joined Craig-Hallum in 2000 and since joining has focused on building client relationships and delivering alpha generating ideas in the small and mid-cap arena. He received his BA from Gustavus Adolphus College.

  • Chris Wilson

    Head of Equity Trading

    Chris joined Craig-Hallum in 1997 and is currently the Head of Equity Trading. He began his career in financial services in 1988 with Kidder Peabody & Co. and was at Hamilton Investments, Inc. and Dougherty Summit Securities before joining Craig-Hallum on its formation. Chris attended the University of Minnesota.

  • James Zavoral

    Head of Capital Markets

    Jim joined Craig-Hallum in 2000 and was named Head of Capital Markets in 2023 after more than two decades leading the firm’s Institutional Sales efforts. He also serves on Craig-Hallum’s Board of Governors. Before joining the firm, Jim held roles at two regional investment banks and spent two years in the pharmaceutical industry. He holds a BA from the University of St. Thomas.
