  • Bill Bonello

    Health Care

    Bill covers diagnostics and life sciences companies and brings a deep understanding of industry dynamics and a real-world perspective to his research coverage. He has developed over more than 25 years covering and working in the diagnostics industry. Prior to Craig-Hallum, Bill served in several leadership roles at publicly-traded diagnostic companies, including as Chief Strategy Officer, President of the Informatics Division and Chief Financial Officer at NeoGenomics and Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at LabCorp. Bill’s research experience includes a prior role at Craig-Hallum (2012-2017) and more than a decade at RBC Capital Markets, Wachovia Securities and Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler). Bill received his BA from Carleton College and MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

  • Eric Des Lauriers

    Consumer

    Eric became a Senior Research Analyst in 2019 after spending his first three years with Craig-Hallum as a Research Associate. Starting out covering the burgeoning cannabis industry, he has since broadened his coverage to consumer staples with a focus on the food & beverage sector. He earned his BA from Boston University where he was a member of the Division 1 Wrestling team and earned his Masters from Boston College.

  • Steve Dyer

    Consumer

    Steve became CEO of Craig-Hallum in 2020 after more than 15 years as a senior research analyst with the firm. He brings a hands-on, research-driven perspective to leadership and remains actively involved in equity research. Steve’s market insights have been featured on CNBC, Bloomberg, and NPR, and quoted in The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s. He also serves on Craig-Hallum’s Board of Governors. He earned his BA from Marquette University and MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

  • Jeremy Hamblin

    Consumer

    Jeremy joined the firm in 2019 and covers the consumer sector. He has over 25 years of capital markets experience, both as a portfolio manager and over a decade as a sell-side analyst, pairing a deep-dive research style with detailed analytics. Jeremy began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers as an auditor and consultant before joining Morgan Stanley Investment Management. He earned a BS from Bucknell University and an MBA from Duke University. He is a CFA charterholder.

  • Matthew Hewitt

    Health Care

    Matt has over 15 years experience at Craig-Hallum covering the life science tools/services, health care technology/services and medical device industries. Thomson Reuters recognized him as the #1 stock picker for healthcare technology in 2018. Previously, he worked in the internet services, software and computer peripherals research practice at Craig-Hallum and spent seven years at Advantus Capital Management. Matt received his BA and MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

  • Chase Knickerbocker

    Health Care

    Chase focuses on Specialty Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Medical Technology companies. He brings a unique commercial perspective to his coverage, as he held several field sales roles at Stryker earlier in his career, prior to joining Craig-Hallum. Chase received his BA in Finance from the University of Minnesota Crookston.

  • Jason Kreyer

    Technology

    Jason provides in-depth technical research and strategic insights across the advertising technology, marketing technology, and internet industries. He holds a BBA from the University of North Dakota and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

  • Albert Lowe

    Health Care

    Albert covers biotechnology and prior to joining Craig-Hallum in 2024, he was a biotechnology research analyst at Piper Sandler. Albert earned his PhD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and his BS from UC San Diego.

  • Per Ostlund

    Health Care

    Per joined Craig-Hallum in 2013 and serves as Supervisory Analyst within Research. Prior to joining the firm, Per was a Vice President and Senior Research Analyst covering Consumer Products at Jefferies. He received his BA from Gustavus Adolphus College and is a CFA charterholder.

  • Greg Palm

    Technology

    Greg joined Craig-Hallum in 2012 and covers industrial technology, manufacturing and business services stocks. He earned his BA from Gustavus Adolphus College, a MS from Boston College and holds the Chartered Market Technician designation.

  • Christian Schwab

    Technology

    Christian has been at Craig-Hallum for over 20 years, where his research coverage has consisted primarily of semiconductors/semiconductor capital equipment and telecom/networking equipment companies. Over his career, Christian has been recognized by the Wall Street Journal Best on the Street and Forbes.com/StarMine Best Brokerage Analysts for his research coverage and stock picking accuracy. He also serves on Craig-Hallum’s Board of Governors. Christian received his BA from the University of Minnesota.

  • Richard Shannon

    Technology

    Richard joined Craig-Hallum as a Senior Research Analyst in 2011 and covers stocks in the semiconductor sector. Richard was twice ranked as the #1 semiconductor analyst in the Wall Street Journal’s Best on the Street survey. Previously, he was a senior analyst at Northland Capital Markets and Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler), an associate at UBS, and was an operating systems programmer at IBM. Richard received his BS in Computer & Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from the University of Minnesota and is a CFA charter holder.

  • Ryan Sigdahl

    Consumer

    Ryan joined Craig-Hallum in 2015 and covers specialty consumer stocks. In early 2020, he became the first U.S. analyst to initiate coverage on the online gambling sector, where he continues to be a recognized thought leader. He holds a BA from Concordia College, and is a CFA charterholder and CPA (inactive).

  • Aaron Spychalla

    Industrial

    Aaron is a Senior Research Analyst covering industrials & clean technologies at Craig-Hallum, where he has helped build out the practice for nearly 15 years. Prior to joining Craig-Hallum, Aaron worked in investment and financial analyst roles at Slocum & Associates (now a part of Mercer), Thomson Reuters, and Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler). He holds dual BAs from Augsburg College and is a CFA charterholder.

  • Eric Stine

    Industrial

    Eric covers clean technology & industrials and has over 30 years of sell-side experience, including covering Clean Tech since 2008. Prior to joining Craig-Hallum in 2012, Eric was a Senior Research Analyst at Northland Capital Markets and a Senior Trader at MJSK and R.J. Steichen. He received his BS from Miami University.

  • Anthony Stoss

    Technology

    Tony covers various technology industries, primarily in the wireless and cable-related sectors. Previously, he focused on a variety of technology industries at EarlyBird Capital, SouthEast Research Partners/Ryan Beck and Martin Simpson Research. Tony received his BA from St. Thomas College and an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.

  • George Sutton

    Technology

    George covers a set of technology verticals including payment tech, niche software leaders, H/C tech & services, AI data centers and services, crypto and Spectrum. His universe continues to be attractive for M&A, with 32 of his covered companies having been acquired. Prior to Craig-Hallum, he was a Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets and its predecessor, Dain Rauscher Wessels. George also worked on the buy-side with First Chicago Investment Management (now JP Morgan) and Madison Dearborn Partners. He received a BS from Indiana University and an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.

  • Jeff Van Rhee

    Technology

    Jeff covers new space and the software sector. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Director of Research at Investec, an international investment bank headquartered in London. Jeff has been recognized several times by The Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com/StarMine and others for the performance of his stock picks. He received a BA from Central Michigan University and is a CFA charterholder.
